Earlier this month, Cyclones Volleyball players helped out at the Lincoln Elementary Fall Festival. Assistant Coach Cierra Washington is a special education teacher at Lincoln and asked the principal about a possible volunteer opportunity.
The team was able to get practice in early and then headed over to the Fall Festival to play with the kids at different stations like finger painting and a volleyball pepper circle.
"Our Cyclones team had such a great time volunteering at the Lincoln Elementary Fall Festival," shared player Marrisa Mellgren. "It was such a joy to meet so many awesome kids, share laughs, and create some memories."
Hopefully the team created some future Cyclones, too!
