“I enjoyed simply providing care to kids who really do need it,” said student Breanna. “It makes me upset that everybody is not able to get the care that they deserve, though if I can make a difference to somebody, that is all that truly matters to me.”
TeamSmile is a non-profit that brings together oral health professionals and major sports teams to make a positive experience out of dental care for underserved children. Since 2007, they have served more than 60,000 children, providing free dental screenings, preventative education, and comprehensive treatment.
“I loved the whole experience, and getting to provide essential dental care to kiddos who really need it was inspiring,” said student Shea.
