Cyclones Baseball player Griffin Dosan was named the NJCAA Division III Pitcher of the Week for April 30-May 6.
The sophomore from Eveleth struck out nine batters over seven innings without a hit or run at the first May 2 game against Central Lakes. He’s ranked 9th overall in Division III for shutouts. Dosan was also named the MCAC Central Division Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
The Cyclones start the NJCAA Region XIII Tournament on May 9, starting their bid to play at the NJCAA World Series. The team is 26-16 overall and 17-3 in conference.
