This is the third year the MESA Club in Electrical is collecting Toys for Tots for the St. Cloud region. Two boxes are located in the Northway Building through Dec. 11, one near Door 8 and one near the Commons.
New, unopened toys are accepted and will be picked up for distribution to go to children ages 6 months to 14 years old in St. Cloud and surrounding areas.
“Last year, our campaign went really well and they had more toys than what they could distribute. They are looking for families to distribute to. Locally, we’d love to have more students take advantage of Toys for Tots for their families,” said Craig Fischer, Electrical instructor.
If you and your family need support for gifts this holiday season, connect with Student Support Manager Carly Reyes or visit the Toys for Tots website.
“I first want to say thank you to all of you who participated in our 2023 Toys For Tots campaign!” Gunnery Sergeant Andrew Fenwick noted, the Toys for Tots coordinator. “Your kindness and generosity resulted in over 23,388 toys distributed to more than 3,662 children in the greater St. Cloud area. These are lives touched. You made it happen, and I salute you.”
One hundred percent of the toys collected are distributed to children in the greater St. Cloud area. If you’d like to start a campaign in a neighboring region, learn more at Toys For Tots. Check out this site to assist in the St. Cloud region.
Toys for Tots is supported by the U.S. Marine Corps and has been providing toys to children in need since 1948, distributing nearly 548 million toys nationwide.
