
SCTCC’s Associate Degree in Nursing program has been ranked second in the 2026 Best Nursing Schools in Minnesota according to RegisteredNursing.org.
The rankings are based on the NCLEX-RN exam pass rates up to three years, available from IPEDS, the US Dept. of Education, and nursing boards. The rates are averaged and weighted by recency of the exam. In Minnesota, 40 post-secondary institutions were analyzed, with 3,444 total students taking the NCLEX in 2024.
SCTCC’s three-year pass rate for 126 students was 95.24%. St. Cloud State was at a 95.67% pass rate with 208 students. The top private college was St. Olaf with 98.51% for 67 students.
“With an impressive three-year NCLEX pass rate averaging 95.29%, students benefit from a meticulously designed 64-credit curriculum that integrates academic lectures, advanced simulation labs, and extensive clinical experiences,” noted Catherine Burger, Chief Nursing Officer at RegisteredNursing.org.
