On Oct. 21, students in Auto Body, Automotives, and Medium/Heavy Truck had the opportunity to hear from representatives of Lube-Tech, a leading company in the automotive products industry.
The presentation was led by Quinn Reilly, a sales representative, and Scott Hommerding, an engineer who plays a key role in product development.
Hommerding gave an in-depth overview of the wide range of products Lube-Tech manufactures, including automotive fluids for cars, pickups, and semi-trucks, as well as specialized cleaners and soaps. Both Hommerding and Reilly answered questions from students about product design and performance.
For some students, this presentation served as a valuable refresher of classroom learning, while for others it offered an introduction to new industry knowledge.
“We sincerely appreciate their time and expertise and look forward to welcoming them back to campus in the future,” said Leanne Pearson, Auto Body Lab Assistant.
