At SCTCC, we offer opportunities for learners in all stages of life. From PSEO students getting an accounting or carpentry degree while in high school, to a non-traditional student upskilling their CNA with a Nursing degree, to high school graduates completing general to transfer.
You have options
With many options for learning, SCTCC has you covered. Short-term certificates, 60-credit transferable AA degrees, diplomas that can be finished in 8 months, continuing education, and customized training opportunities for your place of business.
Customized Training
Customized Training strives to strengthen the region by helping develop a skilled workforce. They partner with business, industry, nonprofits, and government organizations to assess needs and implement training that supports organizational growth and productivity, and employee attraction, retention, and development.
Our continuing education courses are designed to meet industry licensure requirements, enhance professional skills, and provide personal and professional growth opportunities.
Created for you
The top three reasons why students choose SCTCC? Close to home, less expensive, and small class sizes.
SCTCC works with students from beginning to end to ensure their time here is successful.
Flexible
SCTCC has two online-only programs: Computer Programming and Finance.
Several other degrees can be completed online, but they also have the option of attending in-person classes.
The Robotics & Industrial Controls program is an example of a hybrid program: complete lectures, homework, and quizzes online on your own time, then come to campus for in-person lab hours when it works for you.
Affordable, too
SCTCC is committed to providing our students an affordable learning experience as well as services and resources they need to succeed in the classroom and after graduating.
We are the best value in the region. Applying is always free. The SCTCC Foundation offers student scholarships each semester.
Plus, the folks at SCTCC want you to succeed, so there are several supports available for free to students.
