Discover what makes our college unique through a customized group visit experience. Whether you're a high school, community organization, or college-prep program, we welcome the opportunity to introduce your group to our vibrant campus, supportive community, and academic opportunities. Learn more about scheduling, visit options, and how we tailor each visit to meet your group’s needs.

Group Visit Request

Guidelines for Group Visit Requests:

We require the group organizer to complete this visit request form at least three weeks prior to the desired date of the visit for groups larger than 10 individuals.

  • You will receive a response by email within two to three business days regarding our availability to accommodate your request.
  • It is required that one chaperone must be provided for every ten students visiting.
  • Group Visits are designed for students who have an interest in St. Cloud Technical and Community College.
  • If you must cancel or reschedule your visit, please provide 48 hours’ notice.
  • Chaperones must review the Code of Conduct for Student Visitors and communicate this Code of Conduct to students prior to coming to campus.
  • Weekend requests of any size cannot be accommodated.

Code of Conduct:

To ensure a safe, respectful, and positive experience for all, student visitors are expected to follow these guidelines while on campus

  • Respect People and Property: Treat staff, students, and fellow visitors with courtesy. Handle campus property and facilities with care.
  • Stay with Your Group: Remain with your designated group and follow the schedule provided by your group leader or college representative.
  • Follow Instructions: Listen to and follow directions from college staff, faculty, and tour guides at all times.
  • Use Appropriate Language and Behavior: Refrain from using inappropriate language or engaging in disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior.
  • Silence Devices During Sessions: Phones and other devices should be silenced or turned off during presentations, tours, and classroom visits. Headphones should not be visible.
  • Dress Appropriately: Wear clothing suitable for a college environment and be prepared for outdoor walking based on the weather.
  • No Drugs, Alcohol, or Tobacco: Possession or use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products is strictly prohibited on campus.
  • Be Curious and Engaged: Ask questions, participate respectfully, and make the most of your visit!
  • Unruly or disrespectful behavior will result in the termination of your visit. Please note that future visits from your school will then require special approval.

FAQ's

Campus visitors must provide their own transportation to campus. To discuss your group’s needs, please contact recruitment@sctcc.edu or call Admissions (320) 308-5089.

Due to limited resources, we are not able to cover the cost of lunch for visitors. However, we are happy to provide locations for students and chaperones to eat packed lunch.

Yes, the minimum requirement for a group visit is 10 individuals, not including the chaperone(s). The maximum is 45 individuals, not including the chaperones. If your group is less than or exceeds this, please contact the Recruitment team directly at recruitment@sctcc.edu to discuss scheduling.

We welcome group campus visits for students in grades 9th -12th. Exceptions to this age range are made on a case-by-case basis.

Our campus tours minimally include a 30-minute information session and a campus tour that can require a significant amount of walking.

Depending on what time of year you are visiting, tours at SCTCC typically allow tours of classroom and lab spaces across the campus and our program offerings. Various faculty and/or current students may be available during these visits to provide program-specific information to visiting groups.

Yes, SCTCC is a wheelchair accessible campus, and tour routes are wheelchair accessible. If you need an accommodation for a disability or other underlying condition to ensure zero barriers to SCTCC’s campus and/or information, please contact the Recruitment team at (320) 208-6522 or recruitment@sctcc.edu prior to your visit. Some accommodations take time to arrange, so please notify us of your request at your earliest convenience.
