Cyclones Volleyball player Allison Fritz has started the 2021 volleyball season with a bang. The freshman libero snagged both the MCAC Defensive Player of the Week and NJCAA Division III Defensive Player of the Week.
In the first two matches of the season, Fritz had 48 digs in 8 sets and aced her opponents four times. She also broke a 2016 record for digs per match, with 37 digs against Dakota County.
The Cyclones are 1-1 overall and play next on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at home against Century at 6:30 p.m. See the entire 2021 volleyball schedule here.
