SCTCC’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society branch welcomed new members on Nov. 30 with the fall semester induction ceremony in the Library lounge.
Inductees invited their loved ones to celebrate their success, and family members introduced each inductee.
“It was definitely great to see how proud everyone was of their students,” said Mary Wilkins-Jordan, PTK Advisor. “It really brought home to everyone in the room that the hard work the students are doing is a team project.”
PTK is an organization that recognizes academic success and provides opportunities to develop skills both professionally and in leadership. Students show the hallmarks of scholarship, leadership, services, and fellowship.
