She finds the challenges in nursing education very rewarding and stimulating. Donna truly enjoys teaching and interacting with the Practical Nursing Students. Prior to teaching at SCTCC, she has taught classes such as Smoking Cessation, ECG Interpretation, Quality of Life for the Impotent Couple etc. to employees and clients at the St. Cloud VAMC. Donna has been passionate about nursing for 41 years. She has had experience as a charge nurse at the University of Minnesota Variety Heart Hospital and a nursing administrator at the St. Cloud VAMC in the areas of Med. Surge, OR, PAR, ICU, Rehab., Endoscopy, Same Day Surgery, and Clinics including Optometry, Ophthalmology, Podiatry and Urology.
Traci loves developing relationships and working with the SCTCC nursing students. It is rewarding for her to share the exciting and ever-changing world of nursing with the students. Traci also loves going on mission trips; she has been to Cambodia and will be going to Africa in the spring. When asked what her personal life motto is, Traci says, "Treat others the way you want to be treated. Be kind and compassionate and find a way to serve others!"

Dawn graduated from North Hennepin Community College with her Associates of Nursing Degree in 2007. She then completed her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 2012 through the College of St. Scholastica. She received her Master of Science Degree in Nursing Education from Capella University in 2019. Her nursing background includes hospice and palliative care as well as orthopedics and neurosciences. She has been a full time instructor since 2016 and a faculty member at St. Cloud Technical & Community College since 2019.
