Other Scholarships and Grants
In addition to SCTCC Foundation scholarships, there are additional opportunities for students, each with their own guidelines, deadlines, and processes.
American Indian Scholars Program
This program provides a first-dollar tuition and fee-free pathway for Minnesotans eligible for resident tuition who are enrolled members or citizens of any federally recognized tribe or Canadian First Nation to attend a Minnesota State institution or the U of M.
Local and Other Scholarship Opportunities
In addition to SCTCC Foundation scholarships, the following local organizations have scholarships available with their own guidelines, deadlines, and processes.
MN Paramedic Scholarship
The Minnesota Paramedic Scholarship is a temporary scholarship program for Minnesota residents completing a paramedic diploma or degree.
North Star Promise
Starting Fall Semester 2024, SCTCC will offer the North Star Promise Scholarship. This scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition and fees for eligible Minnesotans at a public higher education institution and tribal colleges in the state.
Practical Nursing Career Grant Pathway
Refugees and children of refugees can get a degree to become an LPN tuition-free with scholarships
Workforce Development Scholarship
These scholarships are targeted for Minnesota residents who are majoring in high-demand occupations.
