The Office of Student Conduct promotes a safe learning environment for all students.

Creating a community in which students’ actions reflect St. Cloud Technical and Community College values is of utmost importance. The Code of Conduct guides this process, helping to maintain a civil and safe community for SCTCC.

Welcome to the Office of Student Conduct. The office supports the College's mission by promoting a just, safe, orderly, and supportive college climate. The office upholds and enforces behavioral standards, administers conduct processes, and educates students through mediation, conduct sanctions and other educational intervention efforts.

The Office of Student Conduct is dedicated to supporting students by maintaining a conduct process that is educational, equitable, expeditious and just. We foster students' learning and growth by administering a process that teaches responsibility by holding students accountable for their behavior, encourages the expression of diverse views and opinions, and validates healthy choices and the concepts of individual and community respect.

Through programs and services, we strive to help students mature and become contributing citizens within SCTCC and the local communities. We help to create a College culture that is self-disciplined, where civility is embraced and the community norms and actions validate the essential values of SCTCC:

  • Personal and academic integrity
  • Respect for the dignity of all persons and a willingness to learn from the differences in people, ideas, and opinions
  • Respect for the rights, property, and safety of others
  • Concern for others and their feelings and their need for conditions that support an environment where they can work, grow, and succeed at SCTCC

To report any incident that you believe may be a violation of the Student Code of Conduct, contact the Office of Student Conduct by filling out the Student Conduct Referral Form. If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual violence, hazing and/or other forms of harassment, please visit the Sexual Misconduct website. If this is an emergency, please contact the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-345-4444 or call 911.

You may report an incident for any student at SCTCC. When a report is received, the Office of Student Conduct will evaluate the report and determine student status. The Office of Student Conduct may be in touch with the complainant to describe next steps and/or to clarify or gather more information. Following that, the Office of Student Conduct will schedule a time to meet with the respondent; the formal or informal conduct process begins at that point.
