Career Opportunities

The Psychology Transfer Pathway degree is intended for transfer to a university for psychology, social work or related human services type degree. Consult with the Academic Advising Center to learn more about various transfer opportunities. If you are interested in finding a job upon graduation, you are encouraged to visit the Career Center to learn more about a variety of job opportunities, e.g., mental health technician, behavioral technician, behavioral support specialist, paraprofessional (K-12), corrections officer trainee.
Psychology Transfer Pathway AA Requirements:
PSYC1300Introduction to Psychology3 Credits
PSYC2330Statistics for Psych/Behavioral Sciences4 Credits
Select one of the following courses. And one more Psychology course not selected in the above requirement.

MnTC Goal Area 5Any other Psychology course3 Credits

Liberal Arts and Sciences - Associate of Arts Degree Requirements - 60 credits. The entire MnTC must be completed. The Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) consists of 40 credits in 10 different Goal Areas established by the Minnesota State. Some courses cover several different goal areas, however, the credits can only be counted one time. All are transferable to other Minnesota state institutions and many other colleges and universities as well.
