Improving your college experience with Navigate
Students benefit from Navigate for its more personalized student support and better communication across departments. Academic advisors and success navigators can provide students with information and connections to campus and community resources.
Use Navigate to access these features:

Easy access to find your Success Team members

View alerts and progress reports submitted by instructors about your performance in a course.

Quick access to the academic calendar, information on course registration, billing/payments, financial aid, and more.
How to log into Navigate

Currently enrolled and incoming SCTCC students can log into Navigate using your Star ID and password.
If you're returning to SCTCC after a break in enrollment, or if your log in credentials are not working, please send an email to navigate@sctcc.edu with your name and Star ID number so a member of our team can assist.
How to Schedule an Appointment
Our advising center currently uses Navigate to allow students to schedule advising appointments online.
- After logging into Navigate, click the blue "Schedule an Appointment" button in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select the type of appointment you are looking for and follow all of the steps. You can include any specific questions or concerns you have in the comments box.
- New or returning students have 1 hour appointments
- Current students have 30 minute appointments
- Click the blue "Confirm Appointment" button to reserve your appointment.
- You will receive a confirmation email as well as email and text reminders prior to your appointment.
To ensure your text reminder goes through, we encourage students to update their phone numbers at least annually. Log into e-Services and click on the "Account Management" link on the left side navigation. Then click "Name and Address Info" and edit your number, as needed.
