Make a plan to succeed. Students on academic warning, suspension, or probation need to complete a plan for success.

Complete your Success Plan in D2L Brightspace

  1. Log in to D2L Brightspace with your Star ID and password - D2L BrightSpace Login
  2. Enter the “Academic Advising” D2L page. 
  3. Click “Assessments” at the top of the course homepage 
  4. Click “Quizzes” from the dropdown menu 
  5. Complete and submit the quiz titled “Success Plan - Only Students on Academic Warning/Probation Complete” 
  6. After completing the quiz, schedule a meeting with an advisor or stop by the Academic Advising Center for a drop-in meeting to meet with any available advisor.  
    • During this meeting, you will have the opportunity to address any questions or concerns you may have about your academic plan and receive guidance on how to best implement it.

Students on Warning

Once you have completed your Success Plan, schedule an appointment with your faculty advisor, academic advisor, or TRIO advisor. You can schedule an appointment with an academic advisor through Starfish or by calling 320-308-5741.

Students on Probation/Suspension

Once you have completed your Success Plan, you can schedule an appointment with an academic advisor through Starfish or by calling 320-308-5741.


Note: After you discuss your plan with a faculty or academic advisor, they will need to contact the Records and Registration Office to have your registration hold lifted.
