Do what you want. Especially this time in life, people get caught up in what they should be doing. Pursue what your needs are and what you want to do.

Don’t give up the opportunity on yourself. A lot of the times we like to sell ourselves short. If you just give yourself the chance, you’ll be really surprised about the outcomes from yourself.
Earlier this week for the May segment, I had the pleasure of inviting two students to come with me to WJON to talk about their accomplishments this past year.
The community connections I built during this workshop were lifelong. I met new friends who attend various colleges across Minnesota as well and deepened my connections to other students at SCTCC.

There’s foundations of design in all art, whether it’s advertising in a magazine, a painter, a photographer, what have you.
When members of the Active Minds club worked to bring photographer Barb Kellogg’s exhibit on campus in 2019, it was like it was meant to be: the artist was an alumni of SCTCC and putting her degree to work.
...this event is about making sure we let them know that we see their impact, we appreciate their impact, and we will not forget that impact.
