Thank you for choosing SCTCC! Welcome to our campus community, and we look forward to helping you with your goals. Fall semester is coming soon, and there are a few things you need to get ready for classes.

Let's get started!

Liberal Arts and Sciences, Pathway and PRE-Health Students

Make sure you know your StarID and password. You will use this unique StarID throughout your time at SCTCC. If you have attended another Minnesota State college or university, you will use the same StarID and password – you do not need to create a new one.

  • Go to https://starid.minnstate.edu/ to reset your StarID password as needed.
  • You will need your Tech ID located at the top of the letter or email you receive from SCTCC.

Email is an official form of communication at SCTCC!

If you have not already activated your email, visit https://www.sctcc.edu/student-email for instructions.

Visit https://www.sctcc.edu/orientation to complete eOrientation. eOrientation will help you become familiar with SCTCC services and the processes that you’ll use often while you’re at SCTCC.

At the end of eOrientation, you will be able to sign up for an appointment to meet with an academic advisor. We offer in-person and Zoom meetings. You'll need access to a computer, phone, or other device with internet access to participate in the Zoom meeting.

When you meet with your advisor, you'll talk about your academic goals and credits you're transferring, and then you will select and register for your classes. You will need to meet with an advisor to register for your courses.
