Career Opportunities
Medical Coding graduates become employed in clinics, hospitals, insurance offices, medical testing facilities, long-term care facilities, and industrial medical facilities, public health agencies, or Electronic Health Record (EHR) software companies. Many jobs in this field are remote positions.
Suggested Technical Studies Semester I
HITM 1230 and HITM 1244 require simultaneous registration for HITM 1228 for students who have not completed it with a grade of C or better in the past.
