Biology Transfer Pathway
After graduation, students from SCTCC will have the required skills they need for a bachelor’s program. Whether you want to go into the health field or zoology, we will prepare you for your future education and career.
Cardiovascular Technology
Graduates of the Cardiovascular Technology program utilize their degree to help cardiologists in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures related to stent placements, pacemaker implants, and other heart or blood vessel conditions.
Culinary Arts
Students learn every aspect of the culinary world they need for a successful career at SCTCC. We teach our students safety and sanitation procedures, the formulation of stocks, sauces, soups, starches, breakfast, baking, and even the fabrication of steaks, poultry, and seafood.
Engineering Broad Field
The field of engineering is an essential line of work that is growing every day. SCTCC’s Engineering Broad Field program equips students with problem solving skills that are necessary in the field. Our program also teaches students the technical skills to evaluate many types of data and situations.
Welding
Students in the SCTCC welding program learn a variety of techniques, including Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Oxy-Acetylene Welding and Brazing, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, fuel gas, and plasma cutting.
CADD Operator (Mechanical Design)
A Computer-Aided Mechanical Design degree from SCTCC prepares graduates for a career of creating designs and graphics for products and machines. Mechanical designers help engineers with the design and development of new products and tools and updating present equipment.
