Look around, ask questions, ask what companies do. Sometimes you don't understand how interesting the work actually is. You might be surprised.

You have that experience and it helps the younger students at the same time.

When I first started Big Brothers Big Sisters, I was going through a lot, and I wasn't very confident. I’ve gotten a lot more confident and comfortable in all the things I do.

I absolutely love designing things. I like the creation portion of it, coming up with new ideas and implementing them, seeing them come alive on the shop floor.

Find someone to talk to. If someone says, let me tell you about my experience, take some time and listen. Take every opportunity you can to explore because there’s just no set way to go anymore.

With transferring, it’s just been an easy process with her. It’s really not that hard if you want to transfer.

Other people deserve the outcome I had. It took a village for me, so I need to be a part of someone else’s village.
