When I was here, we had, for example, specialized reading machines that would read text, and it was very labor intensive. And now your phone will do that. To even that playing field for students has just been something tremendous.

My experiences in the military and being a veteran have really helped me as I’ve moved into this career. I’ve gotten to interact and work with a variety of people from many different countries and cultures, and that’s been invaluable to me.

The students know what they want to do, and in general, they go get it done.
