Current students have access to free, short-term mental health services with a Mental Health Professional. Appointments are available on-campus in person, via Zoom for Healthcare or via phone.

Need support?

Free and confidential short-term mental health counseling with our Mental Health Professional is available.

 2 Types of Appointments are Available.

Note: If you are receiving mental health services from a community provider, please choose Consultation appointment.

Consultation (30 minutes): to discuss more about counseling, if you have questions about services, want to know more before deciding to make a 1st session appointment.

MH appointment (45 minutes): if you would like to start with a counseling session and do not need/want a consultation about services prior to this.

Same day appointments for consultation about services are available as time and scheduling allows. Please see Kim Wehlage in 1-401. Students can also contact Kim by phone at 320-308-5090 or email kimberly.wehlage@sctcc.edu.

Would you like to connect before scheduling? No problem! Complete the Mental Health Services Request Form and someone from the mental health team will be in touch with you. We will respond as soon as possible, but we may not be available for immediate response.

If you have an immediate concern for yourself or others, call 911.

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff can make a referral by completing a Cyclones Care form. Check the box "This is a mental health referral" and it will be sent to our mental health team.
