It's proven that with extra support, students do better in college. The Cyclones Success Coordinators connect first-generation students with tutoring, advising, financial aid assistance, and other resources.
The Coordinators will reach out to first-generation students with an invitation to join this program.
All students are invited and welcome to the workshops and events that are hosted by First-Gen Cyclones Success.

With support from the Cyclones Success Coordinators, students can expect to do better in their classes and finish their degrees at a higher rate.
How do we know? Because it works with other programs at SCTCC. Athletes have extra support from their coaches. Students who visit the CAS for tutoring do better in class. Those in clubs, which have an employee mentor, do better in class and graduate at a higher rate.
Are you a former first-generation TRIO student? Reach out to one of our Cyclones Success Coordinators to meet with them about your options! You may schedule a meeting with a Success Coordinator through Navigate, or by emailing Nena or Tomy! They are located at Northway 1-252
