Information Technology
Our students at SCTCC experience cross-disciplinary learning, hands-on activities, and project-based learning to engage them in applying their new skills to real-world scenarios that are in high demand in today's IT industry.
Paramedicine
In the SCTCC's paramedicine program, our students receive a high level of training to make certain they will provide advanced care through medications and invasive procedures in the pre‐hospital and hospital environment.
Architectural Construction Technology
Students in our program can expect to study construction technology, materials, design, blueprint reading, and architectural, structural, and civil drafting techniques. These areas of study ensure our students have the tools they need to excel.
Land Surveying/Civil Engineering
In our program, students will learn surveying and drafting techniques, along with design and construction practices that involve sewer, water, streets, roads, and land surveying. Graduates will be skilled in modern surveying equipment, computer applications, computer-aided drafting and design, and surveying methods.
Plumbing
In our programs, students will learn installation of fixtures, pipe threading, the tools and equipment used, water supply, drainage systems, fabrication and testing, maintenance and repair, and hydronic heating.
Water Environment Technologies
Clean, safe water is important to the health and wellbeing of communities and the environment. Water Environment students will learn a variety of chemical, biological, physical, and mechanical water and wastewater treatment processes and techniques.
Biomedical Equipment Technology
A degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology lets grads work in the health field behind the scenes. Students will learn to troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair a variety of instruments and equipment that are important to hospitals and clinics.
Surgical Technology
The SCTCC Surgical Technology program trains students to assist, set up, and pass instruments to surgeons during various surgical procedures. After graduating, SCTCC students become an integral member of the health care team by helping surgeons provide quality surgical care to patients.
