Accessibility Services upholds FERPA regulations. This means that any information that is shared regarding a student with a disability, is “need to know”. Accessibility Services keeps all student information in a secure confidential server or in a secure locked file. No information regarding the student’s participation in Accessibility Services or any of their private data will be shared with anyone outside the Accessibility Services office unless there is an educational need to know.
This includes:
- Parents, Guardians, and Family Members
- SCTCC Faculty
- SCTCC Staff
If you would like to have your information shared with any of the above entities, please fill out a Release of Information and note the offices or individuals you would like your information shared with. Student signature required.
